EMR Super User Newsletter

Welcome to the EMR Super User Newsletter with all the latest updates and information about the Super User program delivered to your inbox every month.

First a special message:

Dear Super Users,

We hope this message finds you in high spirits after two very busy weeks of Go-Live! We wanted to take this opportunity to express our thanks and admiration for your work during this time. Your dedication and expertise have made a significant impact, providing invaluable support to staff as they transition to the new EMR workflows.

It has been great to see so many staff in blue polo tops on our walk-arounds during the Go-Live, and see firsthand your problem-solving skills, adaptability and willingness to go above and beyond to assist your colleagues. It was also fantastic to see how you have become a vital link between clinical and administrative staff and the Digital Health team, effectively escalating issues and facilitating communication. We know that this is very much appreciated by Digital Health.

While we are still fully immersed in the Go-Live phase, we recognise that your contributions to Western Health’s digital transformation will extend far beyond these few weeks. As Super Users, you will continue to play a crucial role in promoting the adoption of the new workflows, collaborating with the Digital Health team to identify and drive improvements in the EMR and stay in the loop about other upcoming projects.

On behalf of the Western Health leadership team and the entire organisation, we extend our gratitude for your contributions, now and into the future.

Warm regards,

Russell Harrison (Chief Executive Officer) and John Ferraro (Chief Operations Officer)

    July Super User update

Tune in for a special Go-Live edition of the Super User update this Wednesday, 26th July at 2pm – we know you are still busy supporting the Go-Live, so this will just be a quick 15 minute catch-up.

As usual, we will record the session and upload it to the Digital Health information site presentations page.

    What’s next?

Now that the Go-Live period is almost over, it’s time to look ahead! In collaboration with our Clinical Informatics Team, Super User Lead Arsh is busy planning out the best way to work with Super Users across the organisation. Stay tuned for more details.

In addition to the ongoing adoption and improvement of our EMR, there are a number of other exciting Digital Health projects currently in planning – we would love to involve our Super User team in these too and will be calling for staff to assist with the preparation and implementation of these projects later this year.

Digital Health Director, Lily Liu, will briefly detail some of these when she joins the CEO webinar scheduled for this Thursday 27th July 2pm.

All staff are welcome, please click this link to join on the day (passcode: 653976)
