The Digital Health team has a continuous improvement mindset and we’re always interested in hearing from you about changes to the applications we manage to support you in your day-to-day duties.  It’s all part of our focus on Best Care at Western Health.

We have created a new Order Set for PRN Analgesia with the appropriate age filters.

We want to change over to insulin pens to improve medication administration safety and cost savings.

We did

We have updated all Insulin Order Sets to include the insulin pen dosage form.

Diabetes Assessment Powerform

We need a way to audit the diabetes population coming to Western Health and improve patient outcomes.

We did

Created a powerform for endocrinologists to enter patient information. This information pulls into a new section in the medical officers’ workflow page.
