EMR Updates
The Digital Health team has a continuous improvement mindset and we’re always interested in hearing from you about changes to the applications we manage to support you in your day-to-day duties. It’s all part of our focus on Best Care at Western Health.
Based on your feedback, here is a summary of the changes we’ve made to the EMR in 2024 and 2025:
We want to be able to easily navigate to various areas of patient’s chart from Launchpoint.
We updated the medical right click patient context menu with relevant patient chart options.
We want to be able to easily allocate patients to Behavioural Assessment Unit (BAU) team.
We added BAU option within the Launchpoint Team column.
We want to swap Reason for Referral and Urgency fields in the AH and CNC referral and review orders. This will help us prioritise our workload.

We want to have EMR Enteral Feed Orders to integrate with CBORD.
We uplifted current Enteral Feed Orders with new fields (Quantity and Delivery Times) and the order now sends the supplement requests to CBORD.
We want the next group of 7 Oncology/Haematology Regimens added to the Regimens library, to be available for clinicians to prescribe and administer.
We added another 7 Oncology/Haematology Regimens and they are available for clinicians to order.
