Patient Administration Manager
Emily began working at Western Health over 10 years ago, with the majority of that time spent as the Business Manager for Specialist Clinics. She joined the Digital Health division during the first EMR implementation, representing outpatient services and administrative workflows. Emily continued to support the division by leading successful projects including My Health Record adoption and Telehealth implementation and also assisted in the planning and preparation for EMR Phase 2.1 as the Project Manager for the Specialist Clinics project stream.
In July 2023, Emily was appointed as the Patient Administration Manager within Digital Health and is be responsible for the management of the Patient Administration team, including Scheduling (both outpatients and surgery), Registration (both outpatients and emergency), Patient Portal, Correspondence Module, and Statutory Reports
Living in far Regional Victoria, Emily continues the commute due to the enjoyment of working at Western Health and the exciting journey in the digital space.
