How to access the EMR Practice Environment
Practicing what has been learnt in EMR Phase 2.1 training is immensely important to help further increase understanding.
When you have completed your online WeLearn or classroom training, please follow the below steps to access the EMR Practice Environment.
Please note, to access the EMR Practice Environment you will need the role specific Username and Password which was sent via email from the EMR Learning and Development Team to the EMR Super Users in your area.

- Enter your own Username and Password – the login details you use to access your Western Health emails
3. Select the 
icon to open the EMR or if you work in ED select 
to access FirstNet -EMR
4. In the following login screen, enter the role specific Username and Password which was sent via email from the EMR Learning and Development Team to the EMR Super Users in your area
The EMR Practice Environment is not linked to the EMR system that is used in everyday work and the patients in the practice environment are not real ones. Any information entered in the patient’s chart will be refreshed and removed each night.
