EMR Phase 2.1 survey closing soon

There is one more week for staff to give feedback on their level of awareness regarding the Electronic Medical Record Phase 2.1 project via a survey. The survey results will assist the team with change management, communication and training planning throughout 2022 and the lead-up to Go-Live in April-May 2023.

The survey has been open for the past two months, and has given staff the opportunity to communicate their understanding of the EMR Phase 2.1 project and also raise questions with the Digital Health team.

Questions raised through the survey will be responded to via our FAQ page in order to help staff with their understanding of the EMR Phase 2.1 project.

There has been some fantastic feedback received from the survey already, including:

  • I think the changes sound great
  • I think the EMR has tremendous potential and having the different areas of Western Health documenting in the EMR will streamline the way we provide healthcare
  • We can’t wait for Phase 2, it will be fantastic for our workflows
  • Moving everything onto one platform will help with usability

Some staff also expressed some anxiety and fear around the unknown, which is completely normal, and the change management team is using these responses to ensure we adequately support all staff through this transition. There have also been a number of comments regarding requests for in-services and adequate training for staff before the next Phase. Please get in touch with the Digital Health team if you’d like a presentation/in-service for your area.

The Digital Health team is grateful for all the feedback received so far and we would love more responses so we can form the clearest picture of staff understanding of the EMR Phase 2.1 project.

Staff can fill in the short six question survey here until 31st March.

If you have any queries, please contact EMR Phase 2.1 Change and Implementation Manager, Jo-Anna Wood – Jo-Anna.Wood@wh.org.au.
