EMR Change Champion Network launches
The EMR Phase 2.1 Change Champion Network has had a most successful launch, with a broad cross-section of staff taking part in the initial two sessions and more members continuing to sign up.
The Change Champion Network aims to promote and encourage an understanding of the EMR Phase 2.1 change, and to embed advocates across the organisation.
The first two meetings of the Network had 200 participants, and gave those involved a chance to hear more about the EMR Phase 2.1 project and ask questions relevant to their areas. The Change Champions are then able to share what they have learned with their areas/departments and peers and bring feedback back to the EMR Phase 2.1 project team.
The network participated in a live poll on where they felt they and their teams were sitting on the curve. The results gave the Network a better understanding of the level of awareness and engagement regarding EMR Phase 2.1 of members and their work areas.
The Network currently has 249 members and there is an opportunity for more staff to get involved. The EMR Change Champion Network meets on the last Wednesday of each month, with the next meeting on Wednesday 25th May from 2:00 – 2:30pm. Interested staff should first discuss joining the Network with their manager, and then fill in this brief form.
All recordings and slides from the EMR Change Champion Network briefings are uploaded to the new Presentations page on the Digital Health information site.
