Closure of myBeepr
In February 2021, Western Health adopted myBeepr as a secure messaging platform for staff. This was born out of a need to embrace a system for messaging and clinical photos that maintained the appropriate privacy and security of patient information that other platforms, such as WhatsApp, do not provide.
Unfortunately, myBeepr has recently notified all its customers, including Western Health, that the myBeepr application is being shut down. This is a disappointing decision, and despite Western Health’s best efforts to prolong our use of the app, myBeepr will cease their services at 5pm on Tuesday 17th October 2023.
While this change is unfortunate, Western Health are committed to finding a long-term replacement for myBeepr that will enhance our provision of Best Care for our community, and I thank you for your patience and understanding while we work towards this.
