Calling all EMR Phase 2.1 Super Users!
We value the expertise of the 1,200+ Super Users who were crucial to the success of the EMR Phase 2.1 project and invite you to play a key role in the upcoming Digital Health transition project for Bacchus Marsh and Melton (BMM) sites!
We are now entering an exciting phase where EMR functionality will extend to VMM sites, improving the flow of healthcare information and enhancing patient care across Western Health. This priority project is set to go-live in November 2024, with an exact date to be announced closer to operational readiness.
Key enhancements include:
- Extending Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Phase 1 and EMR Phase 2.1 functionality to BMM sites.
- Replacing BMM Clinical Patient Folder (CPF) with Western Health BOSSnet for scanned medical records.
- Transitioning BMM iPM to Western Health iPM for a unified patient administration system.
- Moving from Notifications Messenger to BING for patient correspondence.
- Launching an interface to send pathology results from Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) to EMR and BOSSnet.
- Launching an interface to send radiology results from Lake Imaging (Visage) to EMR and BOSSnet.
Your skills, knowledge, and experience will be invaluable in supporting your BMM colleagues. You will take on a Super Numerary role during go-live, support BMM Super Users, identify key workflows/functionality for training, and become familiar with BMM specific workflows.
Please ensure you are available to travel to Melton and/or Bacchus Marsh during the go-live period and remain available throughout November and December 2024.
To confirm your participation and ensure our records are up to date, please complete this short form. Participation is optional, and we understand if your current circumstances prevent full involvement. Manager approval is required before submitting the form.
We appreciate your ongoing commitment to supporting your colleagues and the success of this important project.
