Please do not chart meds as ‘not given’ when your patient is off the ward attending a procedure. This action removes the reminder in the MAR as overdue for administration (red).

 Eg:  If your patient is off the ward attending Dialysis. Do not sign meds as ‘not given’

When the patient returns to the ward – the red reminder is there to alert you which outstanding meds are due.
