Morphine 100 mg continuous and PCA infusion orders have been updated on the EMR to align with the manufacturer’s label for premixed bags.

The EMR order now reflects the composition of the premixed bag which uses Sodium Chloride concentration of 0.85%.

A morphine bag can be made up using a sodium chloride 0.9% 100 mL bag if premixed bags cannot be sourced from pharmacy (i.e. closed)
