Planned EMR Downtime Sunday 7th April 1.00am – 3.30am
Daylight Savings ends at 3.00am on Sunday 7th April when the clock moves back one hour to 2.00am. The hour between 2.00am and 3.00am therefore occurs twice on the morning of Sunday 7th April
This situation has the potential to create data corruption in the EMR and so the EMR and iPM will be taken offline for a period of Planned Downtime.
The Planned Downtime starts at 1.00am and will be completed at 3.30am on Sunday 7th April.
During this Planned Downtime the organisation will follow the EMR Downtime – Business Continuity Procedure which is detailed on the Downtime Procedures page of this site.
In preparation for this occurrence all Downtime Viewers are currently being tested by the EMR team. Additional EMR Downtime Procedure communication will be distributed by email, including the process for checking the Downtime Kits located on each ward/area.
EMR team members will be located on each site during the Planned Downtime to assist with any queries.
