Enhancements have been made to documentation for Peripheral IV Cannula in iView, with the updates coming into effect on 18th August, 2021.

The Peripheral IV Care task will automatically appear as an 8 hourly task (once a shift) once the Peripheral IV dynamic group has been initiated.

This task will also display on the ‘Activities’ tab in Care Compass.

The ‘Intravenous Cannula Care Nursing Care’ task will no longer appear in the Comprehensive Care IPOC as this will be a duplicate task.
