Pathology Transition
In February 2026, Western Health moved from private providers Dorevitch Pathology and Australian Clinical Labs (ACL), to the public Alfred/Monash Shared Pathology Service.
Pathology will be provided from 2 main laboratories at the new Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals, supported by point of care testing and collection centres at 7 key Western Health locations.
