EMR on the Go Licenses are now available
As part of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Phase 2 project, the Digital Health team is supporting clinician access to ‘EMR on the Go’, using personal handheld devices or smartphones.
One of the opportunities an EMR on the Go license provides is access to PowerChart Touch app for reviewing patient information and contributing to their record on the go. The Camera Capture app allows for safe and direct upload of clinical photography into the patient’s medical record at the point of care.
EMR on the Go licenses are now available to medical officers, nurses and midwives, and allied health professionals. Licenses are limited, so please complete the expression of interest form and view the device requirements beforehand on the EMR Mobile Apps page on the Digital Health site.
After completing the form, you will receive a response within 10 business days with further instructions. Due to demand, unused licenses will be cancelled and reallocated after six weeks.
We encourage you to refer to the PowerChart Touch and Camera Capture videos or the Quick Reference Guides on the Digital Health site for more information on EMR on the Go functionality.
