Bacchus Marsh and Melton Digital Health Transition Project: Go-Live schedule for November 2024

Aligned with Western Health’s digital strategy, the Bacchus Marsh and Melton (BMM) Digital Health Transition Project plays a key role in delivering Best Care to Melbourne’s community in the West. By extending Western Health’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other digital health applications to BMM sites, including Caroline Springs, this project ensures seamless, safe and effective patient care across all Western Health sites.

As announced, by Chief Operating Officer, John Ferraro, a staged Go-Live will kick-off on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, with Bacchus Marsh and Melton Urgent Care, Medical Surgical Unit, Maternity, Theatre and the Medical Day Unit.

The following week, from Monday, 2 December 2024, Specialist Clinic Outpatients, Non-Specialist Clinic Outpatients and Community (including Caroline Springs) will transition.

During the Go-Live period, dedicated support will be available to assist teams throughout the transition, with further details to be shared closer to the date.

The Digital Health team appreciates the tremendous effort everyone involved has made to date. It’s an exciting and transformative time for our BMM sites.
