A new patient falls orderset and auto-text template for Medical Officers was introduced to the EMR on 9th March 2022.

This orderset and auto-text template can be used by Medical Officers to guide the examination, investigation and treatment of a patient post-fall, making post-falls management clearer.

Note: you can use this template for all adult falls, not just for geriatric patients.

You can find the orderset by searching “GERI Falls”. After this you can document the fall by using the .postfallHMO auto-text template which guides you through with prompts and drop-down menus.
