To assist EMR users with unlocking a frozen PowerChart session, a new Quick Reference Guide is now available on the Digital Health information site.

The six easy steps allow users to properly close the EMR while also entering details on what activities were being undertaken when the freeze occurred to help identify any potential trends in the EMR.

Following completion of these six steps, users can re-open the EMR and continue with their tasks.
