From Wednesday 24th November 2021 there will be two minor changes to the EMR Table of Contents:

• Medications tab will be renamed to Medication List with no quick add button

• Orders tab will be renamed to Orders and Referrals   

These changes are to provide more clarity to the contents of each tab, but there will be no changes to functionality.

The Medication List tab allows you to view medication orders across encounters.

The Orders and Referrals tab contains all orderables in the current encounter (medications, pathology, radiology, patient care etc) and should be used to place all orders including medications.

Please note that the referral process has not changed. Discuss all inpatient referrals with the consulting team as per current practice. Outpatient referrals will still be made via BOSSnet.
