Emerson has over 15 years of experience as an ICT professional with extensive knowledge in project management as well as a solid engineering background and sound knowledge across multiple technologies. Emerson joined Western Health in 2018 to deliver devices for EMR Phase 1 and played a key role in delivery of the Multi Functional Devices (MFD) project to support the opening of the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s. He has continued to assist the organisation through his management of the Active Directory migration project and in the technical preparations for the EMR Phase 2.1 Go-Live.
Following the successful EMR Phase 2.1 Go-Live in July 2023, Emerson is lending his expertise to the ongoing EMR optimisation work, as well as planning for future Digital Health projects.
