Welcome to the Medical Officers joining Western Health in the August intake!  You will have all received an orientation email from the Medical Education Unit regarding EMR training and the support services available.

EMR Medical Officers and EMR Learning & Development Team members will be manning support pop ups at the Sunshine and Footscray Hospitals to chat through any queries you may have. New and existing Medical Officers are most welcome to ask EMR questions at the support pop ups.

These team members will be available at the following times:

Monday 8th August through to Friday 12th August​

Monday 15th August and Tuesday 16th August ​

Footscray Hospital (foyer opposite security)       7:00-7:45am, 12:00-1:30pm and 4:45-5:15pm​

Sunshine Hospital  (foyer next to WCHRE lifts)  7:00-7:45am, 12:00-1:30pm and 4:45-5:15pm​

Ongoing, the myBeepr ’COVID/EMR Doctor Support’ group chat is where you can ask questions of colleagues.

myBeepr is Western Health’s secure instant clinical messaging application. This application allows staff to send and receive messages and clinical photos whilst maintaining the privacy and security of patient health information. myBeepr can be used on both Apple and Android phones.
