EMR Point of Care Specimen Collection training commences 9th September

The EMR Point of Care Specimen Collection project aims to improve patient safety and enhance the workflow for all staff who collect pathology specimens by using barcode scanners to identify patients and accurately mark specimens as collected.  This EMR optimisation will go live across Western Health in October 2019.

Training sessions for EMR Point of Care Specimen Collection commence on 9th September and are scheduled across all sites.  These sessions are just 25 minutes in duration and there is no need to book.
