EMR Downtime training sessions for Nursing & Midwifery staff will be held on weekdays from Monday 12^th April until Friday 23^rd April

There will be two sessions available each weekday, 1:30 – 1:45pm (15 mins) and 1.45 – 2:00pm (15 mins) – staff will only need to attend one session

All sessions will be held via Zoom

These sessions have been scheduled to assist preparation for the planned EMR downtime which will take place from 8:00pm on Wednesday 28th April until 10:00am on Thursday 29th April.

This downtime is necessary as Western Health moves the EMR hosting system from the Victorian Department of Health’s Health Technology Solutions (HTS) to Cerner. This process will deliver a number of benefits for our clinicians and patients, including greater stability, reduced downtimes, enhanced cybersecurity and a platform that will facilitate future digital health improvements.
