We’ve made some changes to specimen labels to address the issue of information sometimes being omitted when the label is slightly misaligned or the edge is torn.

We have;

• Increased the margin around the labels
• Reduced the font sizes
• Decreased the patient name to 28 characters

The barcode size has not been altered.

There is no need for you to do anthing differently, these settings have been altered by the EMR team.
