ICU and Critical Care
ICU have custom built Interactive View (iView) bands that are tailored especially for high acuity patients
These bands differ to the ward based iView bands and require more frequent completion than those of lower acuity patients
ICU additionally has a set of dashboards, to review patient information
The EMR Critical Care module will provide Critical Care areas with a single solution for all documentation, charting, ordering and viewing radiology, pathology from across their patient’s Western Health path of care.
The module will integrate with the ICU monitoring system, ventilators, IV Infusion pump and provide connection to ECGs through the ICU monitors, reducing manual transcription for clinicians.
The solution will deliver Nursing Care Documentation, ICU medications, clinician notes, facilitate ICU Liaison workflow and along with iPM facilitate ANZICS reporting.
With all patient care information in the same EMR, this information can be easily viewed by clinicians preparing to care for the patient in another part of the hospital.
